- My house (Check out the Gallery for pictures!) - The Old Barn - The only barn we had when RFR first opened. It contains eight 10'x12' stalls. Horses stalled in these stalls are turned out together into a field which is 8 acres and contains a water trough and a few random trees for protection from the weather. This barn is also used for any overnight, temporary, or weekend boarders we may have. - The Office - Connected to The Old Barn by a breezeway. In the breezeway is an old tackroom with room to hold about 40 saddles and contains fifteen 2'x2' cubbies. - The Feed Barn - Located behind The Old Barn, it consists of a feed storage room, 30 straight stalls and two 12'x12' box stalls. This barn is for feeding purposes only. - The Foal Fields - 2 10 acre fields, seperated by a fence down the middle. This field is for my broodmare band and their babies. - The Foal Barn - One of our largest barns. 36 box stalls 12'x12' each. Each stall leads to a run in which is 12' x 40'. Each stall belongs to a mare in foal or a mare with foal. These mares and foals are turned out into The Foal Fields. - The Show Barn - Consists of 20 stalls, 10'x10' each. These stalls are used for show horses which need to be stalled or horses awaiting a big show day. This barn can contain geldings, mares, fillies, and very young colts. Usually the barn is only about half to three quarters full. - The Stallion Barn. - Consists of thirty 12' x 15' stalls which open into a run in paddock which is 15'x40'. - Stallion Turn Out Fields - We have 10 double fenced stallion fields. They range in size from 1.5 - 4 acres each. Each field contains a run in shed and a watering trough. These fields can be leased for an extra $50 per month. We're in the process of expanding on these, and are hoping to build 5 more. - Mare Field - This field is for all the mares. It is 17.5 acres with a run in shed, water trough, and a wooded area on one side with creek. This field can hold up to 35 mares and fillies. These mares are brought in once a day for feeding. - Gelding Field - This field is for geldings and occasionally a young colt. This field is 15 acres and contains a run in shed, water trough, and a small wooded section in the center. This field can hold up to 30 geldings. These geldings are bought in once a day for feeding. - Ring 1 - This is the main schooling and show ring. It's about 1/7 of a mile around. It usually contains barrels, poles, and jumps for practise purposes. - Ring 2 - This is mainly an isolation paddock for new, injured, or sick horses. - Ring 3 - This is the main jumping ring. It has jumps appropriate for hunter class schooling and jumping schooling. Non-boarders of RFR can make use of this ring and our jumps for $5 an hour or $15 all day. Boarders have access to this field for free. - The Indoor - This is the indoor ring used for showing & practise. There are schooling items available. Non-RFR boarders can use this ring and our schooling items for $5 an hour or $15 all day. - 3 Round Pens for training purposes.
